A model structure of virtuous environmental and socially responsible building
The world’s first GreenLab is taking shape in Sassuolo. Designed by StudioBiòs Associati, a Florence-based firm specializing in green building, bioclimatic architecture and renewable energy, the project features some extremely eloquent architecture and highly innovative solutions.
Kerakoll’s futuristic new Research Centre was designed and built to make very little impact on the environment using only natural materials. The aim was to make sure the air inside the building is of the very highest quality to allow people to work and socialize in the very best of conditions, all the while in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment.
The idea behind Kerakoll GreenLab was to create the perfect example of a virtuous building, designed and built with a constant eye on the environmental and social dimensions of the project as well as the economic aspects.
