Fugalite Color is the latest incarnation of the Fugalite range – a new improved version available in 50 contemporary shades. The formula has been reworked to take the best of the old Fugalite, providing a resin grout that performs exceptionally and is a pleasure to use.
Part A of the two part grout has been altered to give greater performance, reduce the VOC emissions, and maintain the fluidity, and a change to the catalyst in Part B has made it easier to mix. The resulting product really is easy to mix, spread, smooth and clean. In common with other Kerakoll ranges, it is multipurpose with one product for all installation and product types. It has also been certified to perform as an RG grout and R2 adhesive, so can be used to fix tiles as well as grout them. The only thing you have to choose is whether to match the colour to the tiles or contrast it with them.
Under testing this liquid ceramic grout has been shown to outperform other epoxy RG grouts in its class, forming an unbroken surface with the tiles and offering high chemical and mechanical resistance, for long-lasting protection against water, stains, mould and bacteria, and UV rays. Its dense, non-absorbent surface resists abrasion and chemical attack, making it ideal for areas exposed to heavy use, damp conditions or regular cleaning. It is perfect for use in pools with little or no deterioration after tests simulating 20 years of exposure to chlorine, UV radiation and mechanical cleaning.
